"Julie did a fantastic job making my wedding gown from scratch. I had an idea of the dress I wanted, but I didn't know anything about different types of fabric and how the dress would hang the way I was picturing. Julie was patient and worked with me until we got it right. She found me the ivory french lace I was picturing, and made sure every other detail was also considered. She showed me countless fabric swatches and even had the buttons hand made to match perfectly.
It was a really special process to work with Julie on custom making my wedding gown. It turned out better than I could have imagined. I had tried on pretty much every wedding gown in San Francisco and just couldn't find quite what I was looking for. I didn't want any poufs or ruffles or bows. I wanted the shape of the dress to be simple, while still feeling really special and unique to me. My family and friends couldn't get over how well Julie succeeded in doing this. People kept saying that I looked incredibly comfortable and at ease in my gown. I did! It felt exactly like me, and I didn't want to take it off. Even our wedding coordinator told me that she sees a lot of dresses and she was blown away by the simple beauty of the dress. It was perfect.
